G&L What a Hottie     (8/23/07)

  Hottie is a beautiful example of what PCC Generader is doing for our breeding program.  She is a granddaughter of Whelming Critic and Tabasco, a combination that has worked for us. 

 

 

G&L Artesian    (8/06/07)

 Artesian’s horns are going to be interesting to watch.  They are high set with a backward twist.  She is a nice bodied heifer.

 

 

G&L Scrimshaw     (7/22/07)

    Scrimshaw is a result of the Shadow/Gunman cross that we were striving for.  It worked!  She is a beautiful blue roan and has a nice thick body topped with good horn growth.  She will be one to watch in the future.

 

 

G&L Chocolate Swirl     (5/10/07)

    Swirl’s color is beginning to darken and will become a beautiful walnut color as a mature cow.  She is correct in her makeup and has a long line of outstanding cattle in her background.  She is very gentle.

 

 

G & L Peppercorn    (4/28/07)

    G&L Peppercorn has that wonderful “lacy face” that can be found in the VJ Tommie line.  She was born tan and her color has changed to a rich dark brown/black.  Again, you never now what G&L Showdown is going to produce.

G&L Truly Magnificent     (4/08/07)

     G&L Truly Magnificent is just that!  She is the daughter of our World Grand Champion, G&L True Obsession and PCC Generader.  She is beautifully colored with new grulla spots appearing every day.  Her horns are heavy based, with a back twist starting.  Watch this girl!

 

 

G&L Speckled Sage      (4/06/07)

   Specks has a full sister named G&L Sultry Sage that is owned by Wes And Carole Chancey.  We liked her so much that we repeated the breeding and it worked again.  She has nice horn growth, correct structure and a bright future.  Her disposition is exactly like her sister’s and she loves to be scratched.

 

 

G&L Buckle Bunny     (3/3/07)

     G&L Buckle Bunny is a beautiful bright yellow/orange heifer with small black spots, a freckled face and sweet disposition.  What more could you ask for?. G&L Showdown surprises us with his color packages every time.

 

G&L Nellie Belle     (1/14/07)

      G&L Nellie Belle is by PCC Generader and out of WL Kimberly our 63” double twisted horned cow.  She didn’t receive the color that her parents have, but the genetics are there to produce it. 

 

    

G&L Sassy Shasta     (1/2/07)

     

       G&L Sassy Shasta is a very colorful daughter of G&L Showdown with hundreds of little yellow speckles all over her body.  He mother, G&L Sassy Sage, is a Highjacker daughter that was a World Class Champion in 2000.

Nice horn development and extremely gentle.

G&L Working Woman 3 CF 13    (12/11/06)

     G&L Working Woman 3 CF 13  is an exciting addition to our breeding program.  She is a clone of Working Woman who currently measures 78 ˝” tip to tip.  We have used Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer to add specific genetics to our herd over the years and are looking forward to a new adventure in Longhorn breeding.

 

G&L Blueberry Twist    (12/06/06)

     G&L Blueberry Twist started her life as a red roan and has become a beautiful blue roan.  Her mother, LA Ms Twister, has triple twisting, laid back horns and her sire is Old Blue, a Phenomenon son.  A very gentle heifer that loves her scratches.

 

G&L Red Wing    (12/02/06)

    

      G&L Red Wing has a rich red color that makes her a standout in the pasture.  She has good horn development with correct conformation and is a little lady that will make a beautiful mature cow.

G&L Harvest Moon     (11/19/06)

    

      G&L Harvest Moon is an extremely thick made heifer, correct in her conformation and topped with horns that look like they are going to roll back.  PCC Generader crossed with a VJ Tommie/Highjacker daughter has given us an exceptional heifer.

 

G&L Enchanted Sue     (6/21/06)

     G&L Enchanted Sue    Sue is a carbon copy of her mother, G&L Enchantment.  Her sire is JM Sue, a 70’+ horned bull promoted by Bill Hudson.  To say that we are excited about this little lady would be an understatement. She was the Class 4 Champion at the Winchester Futurity in September of ‘07 and the Grand Champion Non-Haltered Female at the ‘07 East Texas State Fair

 

G&L Fashion Critic    (1/28/06)

    G&L Fashion Critic is a perfect package.  She is by G&L Showdown out of our “grand dam” Whelming Critic.  She is correct in everyway and has a sweet disposition.  We have high hopes for this young lady.

G&L Sassy Suzzy    (12/22/05)

      G&L Sassy Suzzy  - Suzzy gets her size from both of her parents.  She has nice horn with a large base.  She has yellow brindle legs and small spots appearing every day.  She will be a beautiful blue roan at maturity.  She is extremely gentle and loves attention.

G&L Smitten Kitten     (12/7/05)

     Kitten is everything that we had hoped she would be.  She is by G&L Showdown out of a VJ Tommie daughter.  She has excellent horn growth with the little twist on the tips that tell us that twisty horns are in her future.  She has been halter trained and is very gentle.

G&L Nekkid N Naughty     (11/28/05)

     Naughty  has been haltered trained for the show ring and is very gentle.  She has a rich walnut colored coat, correct conformation and flat lateral horn.  Her half sister has 50” of horn before her third birthday.  She is representative of the “total package” longhorn that we breed for.

G&L Southern Drawl     (4/17/05)

 

     Drawl is one of our G&L Showdown daughters that we purchased back from Jerre Condor.  This little gal has it all!  Horn, color, conformation.  She is going to be one to watch in the future.

     Ambrosia is a thick bodied, complete heifer that we acquired from Joe Sedlacek in Kansas.  We wanted to try her genetics in our program and are looking forward to her first calf

G&L Sweet Sensation     (3/19/05)

     Sensation is a flashy speckled heifer that is as long legged as they come and should mature to a strong stand up cow.  The combination of Kilimanjaro, Tabasco, Overhead, Hawaiian Girl and Overlyn should be all of the backing she needs.  She loves attention when she is not eating.

G&L Hickory Chip     (3/12/05)

     Chip is out of a double bred Tabasco cow named Hickory that we sold at the Summer Horn Showcase sale.  She has back swept horns that will be interesting to watch as they develop.  Her sire, Kilimanjaro, gives her several 70” horned individuals in his pedigree to add to the mix.  Gentle and loves scratches.

G&L Unique Critique     (3/4/05)

     Critique is a beautiful, big horned daughter of our “grand dam” of the pasture, Whelming Critic.  She has been shown and has won her class every time.  This Butler/Phillips blend has worked for us to produce solid bodied females with good horn.
